This iteration of the ‘60s Spectacular at Proctors featured Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, the Lovin’ Spoonful, the Cyrkle, and E’Stefano DiSanto, but it was the Buckinghams (including original members Carl Giammarese and Nick Fortuna) who shone brightest with their showcase of hits.

They closed with their number one hit “Kind of A Drag.” Currently, an eight-piece group, like all the acts Saturday night they were self-contained. Past ‘60s shows have at times featured a backup group fronted by the lead singer from the ’60s currently carrying the group’s name. It was good to see each group with its own personnel.
