Todd Rundgren‘s current Still Me / Still We tour continues and revisits his narrative-driven 2024 tour, Me/We. He played the larger Hart Theatre at the Egg, in what would be the last show there before a planned six-month renovation closure.
Review by Mark Hudson for the Daily Gazette
What the crowd did get was a two-hour set of deep cuts from throughout his career. Rundgren’s commercial zenith was certainly the ’70s, but of the 20 songs played prior to that encore, a full nine were taken from albums recorded this century and five more were from the 1990s. I consider myself a fan, but I confess some of the material was unfamiliar to me.
