The first show of Music Haven‘s 2025 concert series featured the return of Brooklyn bhangra band Red Baraat, along with openers Quadrature (featuring members of Brooklyn Raga Massive).

It’s anyone’s guess what the lyrics mean, but the music consisting of the dohl, trumpet, trombone, sousaphone, sax, guitar and drums had no problem connecting with an audience that, as always in Central Park, included an eclectic gathering — more so than any concert series in the Capital Region — from toddlers to folks of all ages.
