Atlanta-based bluesman Tinsley Ellis returned to one of his favorite haunts – Caffe Lena – on August 23. Amongst other things, he previewed music from his upcoming album for the Saratoga Springs crowd.

Review by Don Wilcock for the Daily Gazette

He was relaxed and at home at Caffe Lena, where he’s played many times. Already a blues legacy, Ellis’ history is colorful. He told the Lena crowd he loved us because we all were old enough to know what a 78 is and who Raymond Burr was, and he’s jealous of me because I’ve seen most of his influences live.
