The Albany crowd at the Palace Theatre was transported back to the ’90s and ’00s by headliners Toad the Wet Sprocket on their “Good Intentions” tour. Openers KT Tunstall and Vertical Horizon ensured the enthusiasm level was high from start to finish.

There were moments of crystalline beauty and emotion, and the crowd was spellbound, responding to hits such as “All I Want” and “Walk on the Ocean” from their 1991 breakout album “Fear,” as well as deep cuts. Most impressive.
