An ailing (and therefore absent) Mark Stutso did not slow down the Nighthawks, as Syracuse’s Hymie Witthoff stepped in to fill his shoes for their show at the Hangar on the Hudson. Local veterans, the Lustre Kings, played a particularly tight set to get the night started.
Review by Don Wilcock for the Daily Gazette
Some were seated, some standing and some danced with the kind of abandon most people only experience in their bedrooms with the stereo turned up to 11. Uninhibited, we all shake off whatever horrors may be chasing us in our personal lives, and everybody just gets down.
