It was a pair of pure pop performers at Lark Hall on October 18, as Nashville’s Molly Grace rolled her tour in support of her debut album, “Blush,” through Albany. Fellow popster Meg Smith, currently based in Brooklyn, opened up the show.

Her Blush album, on its own, is interesting through layered vocals and instrumentals, but hearing it live adds an element you wouldn’t know is missing: added dance moves, audience interactions, and bringing out Meg Smith to sing “Girls Just Want to Be Famous”
