Featuring former members of The Band and the Levon Helm Band, and much beloved in Woodstock and the surrounding area, the Weight Band played two sets of classic songs from The Band (and two originals) to a nearly sold-out crowd at Cohoes Music Hall.

The show was an old-fashioned wang-dang-doodle, seductive enough to make time stand still for this music journalist and the nearly sold-out crowd that hooted and hollered in a night that promises to be long remembered.
