The Free School in Albany was the venue for a very cool night of DIY Albany hardcore and more. Headliner Spiritkiller played songs from their recently released album and some unreleased ones as well. Dogpisser delighted and (expectedly) leaned into the politics, while Brick Windows impressed with their very first ever performance. Memory Studio kicked things off and rounded out the four-band bill.
Review by Shelby Hafener for Metroland Now
Brick Windows put on one hell of a debut performance, combining powerful hardcore vibes with impressive vocals. Lead singer Heather Williams delivered a suckerpunch of a performance that left me speechless and ready to buy any CD, cassette, or vinyl record of theirs I could lay my hands on.
