Bay-area outfit Death Angel celebrated the 35th anniversary of “Act III” by performing the album in its entirety for the packed crowd at Albany’s Empire Live on December 6. Fellow Californians Vio-lence provided support, as did Lions at the Gate (made up of ex-members of New Jersey Latin metal band Ill Nino) and Chicago’s Misfire, on a stacked, thrash-heavy card.
