I couldn’t pass up giving you the following little tidbit from my C.W.

Seems she and Betty George (the area’s dynamic personality gal) have become good friends and Betty gave her this delightful vignette. Belly attended the Liberace show Sunday eve at SPAC. Earlier, being a good friend of his, she and Moo visited backstage. Now you can’t sit in an audience watching the performance and have your dog in attendance, too. So Miss George, who doesn’t lack fortitude, was able to charm the showman into letting Moo stay in his dressing room. lf you know Moo at all, he obeys his master’s every wish. So Betty was all set to enjoy the show without having to worry about Moo’s whereabouts.

It was now showtime.

To the drumbeats, spotlights beaming and fanfare, Liberace made his stage appearance … carrying Moo in his arms. The crowd broke up. Betty couldn’t believe her eyes. Moo was upstaging Betty, including Mr. L. too. And of course, Liberace was having a ball with the whole put-on. Belty was introduced, but it was Woo’s show. I’ll bet the next time she’ll buy Moo a seat.
