The Doobie Brothers closed out their 1981 tour Sunday night at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., to a sold-out crowd. Lead guitarist Patrick Simmons, left, one of the original Doobies, sings “China Grove” while, top photo, five members of the eight-man band perform “Takin’ It to the Streets.” Above, left, John McFee picks, and, right, Michael McDonald sings “Minute by Minute.”
