From Ashes to New brought their New Disease tour to a packed Albany crowd at Empire Live on November 4. Magnolia Park preceded the headliners, while fellow O-Towners Not Enough Space opened the night with their dual-frontwoman vocal display. Until I Wake‘s lean-in on mental health and addiction was as powerful as ever in between the two Florida acts.

When songs “Nightmare,” “Heartache,” and “Panic” dropped, the room came apart in the best possible way. Every voice was in sync, every hand in the air. Empire Live has seen its share of chaos, but this was different. This felt like belonging.
