Brooklyn-based Jesse James and his accompanying unexplainable presence, “the Spirit,” brought their gloom to the lawn at Silver Factory Records on July 16. Also playing on the bill were the acoustic-but-heavy Mirrors Down, along with the industrial pop of Skinpig.
