It was hip-hop night for this installment of Albany’s Alive at Five concert series, and it featured headliner Lupe Fiasco supported by locals DJ TGIF and Rhakim Ali.

Thunderstorms coupled with torrential rains rushed through the area about an hour before the opening set. But the sun was out soon after, baking the moisture off the pavement throughout the evening. That didn’t deter the music lovers, as thousands flocked under the interstate for the event’s largest crowd of the season.
